Impact Multiplied - Seven Core Beliefs

1. The Incarnation

2. Salvation

3. Biblical inerrancy

4. The Trinity

5. Great Commandments

6. Great Commission

7. The Return of Christ

1. The Incarnation

Jesus Christ was God in human flesh, fully God and fully man. John 1:1,14

2. Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone; accomplished by His death, burial, and bodily resurrection. Ephesians 2:4-9

3. Inerrancy

The Bible is God's truth without any mixture of error in the original text. Biblical principles made clear by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (incarnate Word) are the underpinning of ministry. 2 Timothy 3:16

4. The Trinity

The Trinity is one God who eternally exists as three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Spirit—who are each fully and equally God in eternal relation with each other. The redemptive plan of God is from the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:3-10

5. Great Commandments

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. These two applications of love are the motivation for all Christian ministry. Matthew 22:37-40

6. Great Commission

We are to lead people to Christ, baptize them, teach them everything He said, and train them to be disciple makers. Matthew 28:18-20

7. The Second Advent (Return)

Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish his eternal reign and make all things new. Revelation 5:1-8

We collaborate with churches and mission organizations that hold fast to these seven core beliefs. We know that there will be differences on secondary, interpretive issues. We can fully cooperate in mission so long as we are not required to agree on secondary issues outside the seven core beliefs.

Focus Statement

Our focus is on the sufficiency of three things:

  1. Solo Christo: The completed work of our sovereign savior Jesus Christ

  2. Sola Scriptura: The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testament, Genesis through Revelation

  3. Spiritu Sanctus Solus: Only the power and direction of the Holy Spirit

We reject philosophies that indicate an insufficiency in these three areas, such as gnosticism, mysticism, legalism, and liberalism.

Gnosticism - There is a body of ‘hidden knowledge’ that can be known elevating people to a spiritually elite status.

Mysticism - Chasing spiritual experiences instead of depth of relationship with Christ, knowledge of His Word, and Yieldedness to the Holy Spirit.

Legalism - Developing lists of what is required or forbidden outside of Christ and the New Testament.

Liberalism - Allowing culture to drive biblical interpretation or acceptance of biblical principles.

Value Statement
  • All matter: God loves the whole world. We mobilize every resource and use every gift under our care to reach every person with the gospel.

  • All methods: There is one Church. We love, respect, and affirm any size, expression, tradition, and ministry methodology of the church, provided that Jesus is proclaimed as Lord and King, and the Bible is elevated as the Spirit-inspired inerrant Word of God.

  • All multiply: Living organisms reproduce. We all use the tools, strategies, and methods God has given us to creatively multiply disciples, leaders, faith communities and churches.

  • All together: We are better together; therefore, we love, inspire, support, and learn from one another.

  • All in: God’s kingdom is bigger than any organization, church, or denomination. We focus on what unites us and work together humbly, intentionally, and strategically.

  • All God: We can do nothing without God. We pray, mobilize prayers, believe, and take faith actions to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
