Collaborative Minimums
We are not denominational or non-denominational. We are interdenominational and collaborative with other churches, missions, and ministry networks that align with our core beliefs for collaboration expressed below.
Core Beliefs for Collaboration
1. The Incarnation
2. Salvation
3. Biblical inerrancy
4. The Trinity
5. Great Commandments
6. Great Commission
7. The Return of Christ
Core Beliefs for Collaboration
1. The Incarnation - Jesus Christ was God in human flesh, fully God and fully man.
John 1:1,14
2. Salvation - Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone; accomplished by His death, burial, and bodily resurrection.
Ephesians 2:4-9
3. Inerrancy - The Bible is God's truth without any mixture of error in the original text. Biblical principles made clear by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (incarnate Word) are the underpinning of ministry.
2 Timothy 3:16
4. The Trinity - The Trinity is one God who eternally exists as three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Spirit—who are each fully and equally God in eternal relation with each other. The redemptive plan of God is from the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:3-10
5. Great Commandments - Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. These two applications of love are the motivation for all Christian ministry.
Matthew 22:37-40
6. Great Commission - We are to lead people to Christ, baptize them, teach them everything He said, and train them to be disciple makers.
Matthew 28:18-20
7. The Second Advent (Return) - Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish his eternal reign and make all things new.
Revelation 5:1-8
We collaborate with churches and mission organizations that hold fast to these seven core beliefs. We know that there will be differences on secondary, interpretive issues. We can fully cooperate in mission so long as we are not required to agree on secondary issues outside the seven core beliefs.
The seven core beliefs are in alignment with Scripture and the earliest creeds of the church.
