Equipping New Leaders.
MULTIPLYING IMPACT.
"So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily." Acts 16:5
Imagine this:
Emerging church leaders—tomorrow’s pastors and missionaries—being effectively equipped in the context of your local church.
That’s exactly what’s happening through the Disciple Makers Institute (DMI) Ministry Practicum. Local churches are experiencing fresh momentum and measurable growth as the next generation of church leaders integrate their training with service in the local church to multiply disciples and disciple-making groups.
The DMI Ministry Practicum is an immersive, hands-on training experience where learning and doing go hand in hand. Students don’t just gain knowledge—they immediately apply it to reach new people and multiply disciples. Churches consistently report both spiritual vitality and numeric growth as students lead and serve in real-time ministry contexts.
How does it work?
The DMI Ministry Practicum can happen literally anywhere a person is called by the Lord to start disciple-making ministry (local church or mission area). It can also effectively integrate into seminaries and Bible colleges as a residency experience in disciple multiplication for students.
Local pastors or professors serve simply as validators—offering brief feedback to confirm student progress. The entire training is built around four key areas essential to fruitful ministry. We call them The Four Pillars. They are: Disciple-Making, Biblical Doctrine, Ministry Strategy, Biblical Leadership.
